Graduation Requirements

Students at Jefferson High School are required to have passed the following classes prior to their graduation. These represent state requirements plus additional local requirements.

1. English I, English II, Senior English and three additional semesters of English electives
2. Two credits of mathematics
3. Two credits of lab sciences
4. World History, American History and Government
5. Two years of Health and PE with exemptions as above
6. One half credit of keyboarding or typing
7. One credit of fine arts (art, crafts, band, chorus, music lab, drama)
8. One credit of vocational/practical arts (home economics, business or shop classes)
9. Two additional electives
10. A total of 24 credits for graduation
